Sites for Photographers
With our sites you can upload new photos whenever you want, in bulk or one at-a-time. I do mine in bulk and it saves time. Get your own
- slideshow
- gallery
- photography blog
- and online store
And if you want your Exif (shutter speed, aperture, time, etc.) data to display under each photo, I’ll make that happen. I use it so others can see what I do to get my style of photography.
Get Free Traffic
Since I’ve had my photo blog site up (Fall 2006), I’ve broken into Google’s top 10 for “Seattle photographer”, “Seattle photography” and “Seattle photographs”. Try it. My site is ranked currenly above even the Seattle Times. I run my site with WordPress. I use what I recommend, and vice-versa.
Member of a Photo Community?
If you’re a member of Flickr or another photo community — great, don’t stop. Complement that membership with a site that pulls your flickr photos right into the site we build for you. Let Flickr store it, and display it on Flicker and your site.
But if you’re trying to sell your work, Flickr isn’t the best tool for the job. Get a site you can call your home — your domain name, youremail@yourdomian.com, your colors, etc. I’ve spoken to pros and clients, and they agree: if you want people to take you seriously as a photographer, MySpace and Flickr won’t cut it.
Professional Websites Work
I sell photography services — one of my clients is the National Development Council — and stock photography, and more than half of my clients have found me through my fine art photography site or my commercial photography site.
